i wouldn't say glitchy, but it's definately not fun spending 80% of the game time falling on spikes and trying to get out of the pit.
i still preffer adventure games like this over most of the games you usually see on front page though.

there's alot of things i want to complain about but everyone already mentioned them.
---tips for gamers---
don't focus on a single weapon, if you evolve it you'll be stuck with shit and die, instead keep adding points to all 3 guns, mainly recharge and damage. i only added recharge to the pistol, the burst and shotgun i had no accuracy and hardly had any recharge and i was fine.
eventually at the third level i evolved the pistol using the power upgrade, don't use recharge or accuracy or you'll be really dissapointed. the power pistol can shoot charged shots without using any recharge at all, and it can wipe out a whole wave of enemies.
don't wander away from the base or try to jump over enemies, just crouch down at the base and fire away.
---weapons i've tried---
recharge pistol- complete crap, it only shoots a few weak rounds per recharge
accuracy pistol- weak homing missiles
power pistol- awesome, just make sure you only use charged shots
recharge burst- just like the recharge pistol only stupider
power burst- it's like the power pistol only automatic and weaker
power shotgun- it just adds like 6 lasers to the original shotgun

but seriously though add a save feature

i've been waiting for a good steampunk game for years.
i'm having a hard time with that last level, so i'm going to have to wait untill multiplayer is back up to beat it =)
pm me if anyone wants to beat the game in one sitting when multiplayer is back up, and make sure you get some upgrades!
